Discover the story behind First Marble and Granite
Founded in 2004 by Mr. Walid Daaboul, First Marble & Granite (FMG) began as a vision carried across borders, a vision shaped by resilience, ambition, and a belief in opportunity. Arriving from Lebanon to Qatar, Mr. Daaboul brought with him not just experience, but a commitment to grow alongside the rising nation of Qatar. What started as a personal journey soon became a thriving company, and more than that, a family.
"When I first arrived in Qatar in 2004, I was carrying nothing but a vision, a will to work, and a belief that with honesty and determination, anything is possible. I didn't have a large team or advanced machinery, just experience, a strong work ethic, and a deep desire to contribute to a country that was itself growing and transforming.
